Optimizing graduate education for today's practicing engineers

The authors detail how the Purdue off-campus engineering Master's degree program and the GM Technical Education Program function synergistically to maximize the benefits to all concerned-student, employer, and university. In March 1986, Purdue University and General Motors Corporation formally agreed to offer Purdue's Master of Science in Engineering degree through the GM Technical Education Program at the GM Technical Center in Warren, Michigan.
