GFHM-PID Controller Analysis and Design (II)

The PID controller based on generalized fuzzy hyperbolic model (GFHM-PID) can be considered as a combination of linear PID layer and fuzzy logic layer. Respectively, two-level PID tuning strategy was proposed. The linear PID parameters may be tuned firstly. Then the nonlinear characteristics of fuzzy logic layer were tuned so that the control performance will be improved. The tuning strategy of fuzzy logic layer was extracted from experience data by Rough Sets theory. Finally, the tuning strategy was applied to air-conditioner control system. The simulation results show the effective of proposed tuning strategy.
