A Blind Space-time Decoding Algorithm by Kurtosis Maximization for the Down-link of MC-CDMA Systems

In this paper, a blind space-time decoding (BSTD) algorithm is proposed for the down-link of a space-time coded multicarrier CDMA system with multiple transmit and receive antennas used. The proposed BSTD algorithm is an iterative algorithm using Chi and Chen's computationally efficient fast kurtosis maximization algorithm with super-exponential convergence rate. Some simulation results are presented to support the efficacy of the proposed BSTD algorithm.
