Connoisseur applications in the food industry

Connoisseur is an advanced process control package. It makes possible tight control of the process using existing interfaces to the plant instrumentation and in addition it provides the functionality of a full feature SCADA system. Two particular applications of Connoisseur in the food industry, the dried milk powder production and the pH control in a sugar industry, are presented.<
