A note on line spectral frequencies (speech coding)

The main properties of line spectral frequencies (LSFs) are analyzed by means of the root-locus technique. This leads to a better insight into the nature of this efficient predictor filter parametrization. The effects of quantization of the LSFs are illustrated by a numerical example.<
