The science of volunteering

In recent years there has been an increase in demand from developing countries for skilled professional volunteers. This shift in the delivery of development has led to a fresh look at the personal and professional benefits of volunteering overseas. VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) is an international development charity that works through volunteers. Volunteers live and work with local communities, sharing their skills and knowledge.
