A DCT-Based Broadband Multicarrier Transceiver

We investigate the use of the discrete cosine transform (DCT) for multicarrier transmission over frequency selective channels. We derive design conditions for the DCT to diagonalize the channel into parallel, decoupled, and memoryless subchannels.
