Using T-functions for optimization of gyrotron TE/sub On/ mode converters

Presented in this paper is calculation and optimization of TE/sub On/ modes using T-functions. Reliability of numerical results obtained, was checked at power conservation. In every case power conservation upsets were less than 2%.
