Determining the characteristics of neural implant technology

The discrete harnessing of neural signals by invasive measures is a powerful technique that can give humans an extra dimension of interactivity with peripheral devices. Due to the traumatic nature of invasive surgery it is preferable to know the characteristics of implantable devices prior to their integration within a patient's body.
