Design of transport mobile robot behavior in self-organizing assembly system

Bionic assembly system is a concept of self-organizing assembly system in which basic elements are autonomous mobile robots. The basic characteristics of the system are self-organization, adaptation and reconfiguration. This paper is focused on transport mobile robot type in the system and the simulation of robot's navigation in Webots software is presented. Transport mobile robot should be designed to navigate with collision avoidance capability in the shop floor environment, flexibly coupling with the changing environment
