Verizon's fiber to the premises: lessons learned

To make FTTP a reality, various architectural choices have to be made to make the technology, its adoption by the customer and its deployment cost effective. The paper reviews such decisions and outlines some of the lessons learned in the last six months that Verizon has deployed FTTP.
