Design of real-time arden syntax based decision support system with minimum workload and building cost

Performance problem is significant barrier to the dissemination of the Arden Syntax based decision support system. We designed a system architecture which minimizes workload towards existing HIS with least building cost. We implemented and evaluated our system. The experimental results show that adopting our system to real-time hospital information system is promising.
