Analyzing metal fixed-point cells from their plateaus

Plateau evaluations have been conducted for Sn, Zn, Al and Ag fixed points using open type fixed-point cells. The analysis based on the measured plateaus shows that their derived freezing-point depressions have dependencies on the rate of solidification.
