Decoding for magnetic recording media with overlapping tracks

This paper studies the effects of track overlap in magnetic recording medium vis-a-vis the decoding performance and user bit-density. In this paper, we use the full graph algorithm, which performs message-passing on the joint graph of the channel ISI and the error-control code for decoding.
