On the extent of asymptotic stability for output variables by Liapunov's direct method

For the determination of the extent of asymptotic stability by Liapunov's direct method, La Salle's theorem is extensively applied. This article presents required extensions to La Salle's result to determine regions of attraction for output variables of dynamic systems, even if the attracting set in the state space is unbounded.
