B. J. T. field factor measurement and the Ebers-Moll reciprocity condition

Experimental results and a theoretical argument, based on the Ebers-Moll model, cast doubt on the validity of a technique proposed recently (by Bhat) for the direct current measurement of the field factor of a bipolar junction transistor.
