Reliability analysis of hierarchical systems

The hierarchical system analysis approach is an important part of reliability engineering. The upward modular imperfect coverage model (UMIPCM) helps lower complexity of reliability analysis. Based on simple and efficient algorithm (SEA) idea, the result on the top down separable algorithm is obtained for the HS. The top down separable algorithm is efficient and integrated, helping a reliability engineer use existing software packages for fault-tolerant HS.
