Simulation of B-H excursions for transient studies (transformer cores)

The authors present an accurate but simple model for representing the core loss and flux excursions in transformer cores during transients. The model is based on the non-integer-power series in flux density representations of the magnetization characteristic. The results obtained from the model show good agreement with reported experimental investigations.<
