Accelerometric activity identification for remote assessment of quality of movement

This study examines acclerometric data collected during straight walking and stair climbing to assess a subject's mobility and activity level. Small, wearable accelerometers allow these motion analysis techniques to be used in a remote monitoring or telemedicine program.
