RF propagation in finite thickness nonreciprocal magnetic photonic crystals

The magnetic crystal is promising for microwave applications, including smaller RF devices. The frozen mode regime has been demonstrated for infinite and semi-infinite magnetic photonic crystals. In this paper, we examine a more practical case: pulse propagation in a finite size magnetic photonic crystal.
