A note on the project problem for electromagnetic field vector in vector wave function space

This paper begins with the solving of Maxwell equations based on Coulomb gauge, applying Helmholtz theorem in classical electromagnetic theory, presents a new method of converting rotational field equation to two independent scalar field equations, and analyzes the project problem for electromagnetic vector in vector wave function space, dyadic Green's functions expressed by using scalar Green's function are given.
