Modeling the mobile host's mobility/position as a function of time

When modeling wireless networks we require to find the distance of a mobile from the base station of the current cell, and also from base stations in some neighboring cells. This is needed for many reasons, such as to estimate cochannel interference and signal to noise ratio (SNR), and also for resource management functions. A model is proposed to find the position of the mobile host at any point of time in its full duration of the call. Such a model seems to be very useful in modeling many of the functions of wireless communication systems like channel estimation, resource prediction and reservation, etc.
