Two-dimensional convolutions by means of number theoretic transforms over residue class polynomial rings

In this paper, a general framework is developed in which many of the currently used convolution methods, including polynomial transforms and number theoretic transforms, can be discussed. A number of new algorithms for two-dimensional convolution are also derived from the general theory.
