Exact calculation of the impulse response of quarter-plane filters in a finite region by means of the DFT

A simple method for the exact calculation of the impulse response of quarter-plane filters in a finite region is presented. By a simple transformation of the variable w, all aliasing errors caused by the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) are avoided.
