Admittance of Irises in Coaxial and Circular Waveguides for TE/sub 11/-Mode Excitation

The admittance of irises in both coaxial and circular waveguides is deduced from a mode-matching technique. Design data for the effective admittance to TE/sub 11/ -mode excitation are given for a range of waveguide and iris dimensions.
