Routh approximant state space reduced order models for systems with uncontrollable modes

The problem of deriving time domain reduced order models to systems which are not completely state controllable is considered, and the procedure does not involve the computation of eigenvaiues and eigenvectors of the high-order system. The details are explained and illustrated via a numerical example.
