Comments on "Input-output stability of interconnected systems"

In this note it is shown that the conventional stability criterion for multiple input-multiple output systems (MIMO systems) obtained via the small gain theorem is a special case of the stability criterion established in the above paper. This fact was not noticed by the authors of the paper.
