Quadratic programming analogs

It is shown that a recently proposed analog of the quadratic programming problem is only applicable to a subset of such problems. The characteristics required of a generalized analog are detailed and a suitable form of implementation is described. The behavior of experimental circuits and their performance limitations are discussed.
