Development of high-power laser system for laser-fusion research

This paper reviews the development of high-power Nd:glass laser techniques for laser-fusion research in China since 1965, including the construction of single- and multiple-beam laser systems, the development of various laser oscillators, amplifiers, components, and some other special optical techniques.
