Comments on "The Strang-Fix interpolation error bound in an operator setting"

In this comment, it is shown that a previous article on an error bound for Strang-Fix (1971) interpolation contains an error in the proof of the main result. A direct and simple proof without using the machinery of operator theory for the bound on Strang-Fix interpolation error is obtained.
