Analysis and Design of HF Radio Noise Measurement Antennas considering Directivity and Polarization

The HF radio communication receivers are inevitably affected by radio noise everywhere. Quantitative evaluation of the effects is needed. This article discusses the sources and characteristics of HF radio noise, based on which measurement antennas are analyzed and designed considering directivity and polarization.
