Design of Early Landslide Warning System Caused By Rainfall Influence

Indonesia is a country that has many valleys, hills and volcanoes. Indonesia has high rainfall as well. So that every year, in Indonesia there are many natural disasters like landslides. Landslides is a type of natural disaster that occurs due to the movement of soil or rock masses, which come out of the slope due to soil stability from before. In this study, an early warning system for landslides was developed due to the influence of rainfall by using Arduino and Multi Sensor microcontrollers, namely: Time of Flight proximity sensor, Digital Accelerometer Sensor, Rainfall Sensor and Soil Moisture Sensor. When the danger sign is detected, this system will sound the danger siren and will send a warning SMS to the officer of the disaster agency in order to come and evacuate the residents.
