An Optimization of PAD Paradigm for Higher Vocational Education Based on Effective Learning

From the perspective of effective learning, this paper analyzes the causes of poor effects of PAD (Presentation-Assimilation-Discussion) classroom teaching practice in higher vocational education of China at present. And based on the view that differential teaching can improve the validity of learning, the PAD Class model is optimized through the learning ability indexes to distinguish between students. On this basis, this paper takes the specialized curriculum of the higher vocational college as research object and carries on the demonstration analysis to the optimized PAD Class paradigm. The results show that the optimization of PAD Class model can improve the learning performance, qualitative perception of learning activities and learning self-efficacy of students. At the same time, in order to optimize the PAD Class model, the problems of constructing the learning strategy, the building of personalized teaching resources, the design of teaching activities and the construction of teaching staff should be solved.
