Thermoelectric transport in superlattices from anisotropic materials

A formalism for treating thermoelectric transport in systems with anisotropic electronic band structure has been developed, and it has been used to make detailed calculations for PbTe quantum wire superlattices. A novel dependence of their power factors on wire size is obtained and discussed.
