Excitation of whispering gallery modes in a high double-layer disc shielded dielectric resonator

The investigation of shielded dielectric resonators on the base of the dielectric resonant structures with high Q-factor and improved spectral characteristics is the aim of this work. The thesis is article to the solving of the effective excitation of the whispering gallery modes in the shielded quasioptic dielectric resonators by the using of a planar waveguide.
