Study of millimeter wave spatial beam synthesis based on quasi-optical technology

In this paper, we propose a novel millimeter wave power synthesize method. This method, which is based on Beam-Waveguide principle and beam shaping principle, allows power synthesize in the open space. We made a four-ways Quasi-optics power synthesize prototype. Its transmission efficiency is about 85%, and power synthesize efficiency can be estimated approximately 70%. This MM-wave Quasi-optics power synthesize method is feasible in practice.
