Field reduction measures for EMC problems caused by asymmetric earthing arrangements and equipotential bonding systems

Within the framework of the industrial evolution the digital revolution implicates on the one side that the usage of complex devices for data processing (ICT), data analysis and data collecting increases (smart devices) and consequentially on the other side the energy demand especially in concentrated cities (smart cities) increases too. In combination with new, mostly asymmetric architectural shapes a rise of undesired electromagnetic interferences in the complete smart system or in single smart buildings is the consequence. This contribution deals with measures to reduce low frequency electromagnetic fields (f <; 1MHz) in asymmetric building structures and so improve the building's electromagnetic compatibility characteristics.
