Minimal-order Feedback Control Design

In microprocessor-based control, it is often important to develop control strategies using retatively low-order controllers in order to trade computational Load for higher control rates. This paper gives new results for minimal-order observer- controller design computations for plants with both muttiple-inputs and multiple-outputs. In a number of cases, lower-order digital controllers are obtained than with existing methods.
