Design and implementation of intelligent gateway for smart home

With the gradual development of Internet of Things (IOT), there is a growing demand for intelligent household products in Smart Home. The access to a network through traditional technologies like IPv4, Bluetooth and ZigBee can no longer meet the requirements of Smart Home. In this paper, the Smart Home network based on the next generation of network protocol IPv6 is designed, and an IPv6-based Smart Home intelligent gateway system is implemented. Thus, the intelligent household products can be directly connected to the Internet, which will bring an unprecedented experience to the users. Major technical points are illustrated in the process of constructing Smart Home network, including the design of the intelligent gateway control system for Smart Home.
