Increasing the reliability of the stress state's measurement of alloys by Barkhausen Noise method

The paper is devoted to research in the field of increasing the reliability of the stress state's measurements of materials by the Barkhausen Noise method. Measurement of the noise was carried out by the developed Barkhausen Noise registration device. The device registers complete waveform and allows to calculate various parameters of the Barkhausen Noise. Reliability evaluation was performed by stretching samples of steel M76. Root mean square (RMS) has been chosen as informative parameter of Barkhausen Noise. Increasing the reliability is made possible by using statistical analysis methods. It has been established, that ensuring an optimal reduction of the relative error is reached at length of numerical series equal to 5 periods of the magnetization reversal current.
