The Way You Change

This chapter defines the author's model of the way in which human beings, generally, move through the world. The author believes it is a Map of the World that allows people to understand why people do the things they do. Every human being has five major observational senses:eyes, ears, skin, tongue, and nose and with those five senses, people take in data and information about the universe. With this data, the Map of the World, the map of solar system, and the Map of Reality is constructed. The behavioral model consists of the four stages leading to action and the four stages: the creation/generation of a Map of the World; the Focus of Attention; Emotional and Physiological States; and Actions and Behaviors. The map of reality generated from the electrical impulses provided by physical senses can be considered the first stage in the Cycle of Influence.
