The improvement of thermoelectric element and people's livelihood applications

Thermoelectric material, also known as a thermoelectric power generation material, is a heat and power conversion functional material. Thermoelectric module were constituted by the heat collector unit, thermoelectric element, heat dissipation unit and other major components, mainly for heat and electric cooling or other particular purposes. The electricity can be generated by thermoelectric module at enough natural temperature gradient and industrial waste heat etc., and this will good for social environment. By compare with the peltier's effect electric refrigeration machine, the mechanical compression refrigeration machines were hard to advantages, such as small size, light weight, without any mechanical moving parts, work without interference noise, no pollution, such as liquid or gaseous media environmental issues, and possessed precise temperature control, fast response, long life and other advantages of the device. In marketing, thermoelectric cooler (TEC) currently has been widely used in medicine, cosmetics and the other areas. In general, the operation temperature of thermoelectric cooler is not allowing to application in high temperature, and the price of TEC is also relatively cheaper. TEC will fail due to poor heat dissipation unit or due to exposure to high temperature. In order to improve the operability of TEC at higher temperature, we design three kinds structure of TEC in this study, After diligently process, the TEC can be operating in a higher temperature region for a long time; formerly, original TEC only be applied up to 200 °C, but the following now allows up to 300 °C, while its power output increased by 15% or more, higher than the original TEC. At this time, all over the world promoting environmental protection, green energy and renewable energy, especially when waste heat sources exist in all walks of life, difficult to recycle up to 88% of the low-temperature waste heat more, if we can recovering waste heat call to produce electricity from the exhaust pipe of vehicles, or catering to the livelihood of the stove barbecue, fried cooking, for other low-temperature waste heat and thus be properly applied, and we can receive a friendly environmental result that by reduce greenhouse gas emissions of carbon dioxide.
