Response Analysis of the Device Structure in Hazardous Area for Powder and Explosive Materials

Using the "dynamic factor method" (DFM), the response features of elastoplastic systems on the explosion load of power and explosive materials are calculated and analyzed, utilizing the extreme value optimization method and the numerical integration method. It was found that the dynamic factor of the structure can be larger than 2.0 (the maximum response factor for elastic system is 2.0) and that the dynamic factor is dependent on the maximum value of the dynamic load and the strain hardening properties of the material. The influence of such parameters on the dynamic response of the structure was also investigated. The result can be applied to different explosion load of power and explosive material.
