Quantum Nature of a Strongly Coupled Quantum Dot-Cavity System

This work studies a single InAs/GaAs self-assembled quantum dot in strong coupling with the fundamental mode of a photonic crystal defect cavity. Results show the quantum nature of the system by observing quantum correlations in photoluminescence, which validates the applicability of this system for quantum information.
