Tilt Perception by Constant Tactile and Constant Proprioceptive Feedback through a Human System Interface

Tilt perception through a haptic human system interface is experimentally investigated. Tactile feedback is provided by vibration motors and proprioceptive feedback by the Cybergrasp exoskeleton. Enriching mere vibrotactile feedback by additional constant force feedback has not been found to influence human tilt perception.
