Maneuvering frequency adaptive algorithm of maneuvering target tracking

The current statistical model is one of most effective method for maneuvering target tracking. It's the mean acceleration model and it reflects the variation of target's maneuvering rang and the intensity more practically . However, the frequency of maneuvering α , which represents the variation of target maneuvering, needs to be predefined and it won't be changed with the targets maneuvering. That makes the effect of tracking system drop dramatically. Based on analysis on kinetic characteristic of target, a maneuvering frequency adaptive algorithm was proposed. The model of maneuvering frequency was built and the parameter α was adjusted adaptively with maneuvering. At last, the simulation results prove this algorithm effectiveness and efficiency.
