A user-friendly research tool for image processing with fuzzy rules

A dedicated software support tool is presented. Its principal aim is to facilitate the process of experimenting with fuzzy techniques for image processing before their final implementation. Key aspects of the proposed tool are user-friendliness and interactivity, which allow the user to insert and quickly to modify the fuzzy knowledge base by means of a graphical interface. After fuzzy strategies have been successfully tested, the tool also produces a C language source code which allows portability on different platforms. To illustrate the performance of the tool for image processing, two examples are given.<
