Maximization of supercontinua in fibers by using double pulses and polarization effects

Maximation of supercontinua (SC) in fibers are demonstrated by presenting 2 ways to increase the SC width at the same pulse energy and the fiber length. The first is by using a double pulse technique and the other is by the exploiting polarization effects.
