Two online usage websites are available to help subscribing institutions better understand how their users access content in IEEE Xplore. This free service provides secure access to subscriber-specific usage information using username/password authentication.

The IEEE Online Usage Reports site contains IEEE customer user statistics through December 2005. This site includes number of PDFs served, number of abstracts served, and denials based on the institution exceeding concurrency.

Customer statistics for January 2006 forward appear at our new COUNTER-compliant statistics site. This site includes COUNTER reports one through four, and additional reports for IEEE conferences and standards.

The same username and password allows access to both sites.
