Design of 80 W two-stage adapter with high efficiency and low no load input power

This paper presents the design of 80 W two-stage adapter with high efficiency and low no load input power to meet the needs of high density and energy saving. The worst-case efficiency of the adapter is 89.2%, and the maximum input power at no load is 0.72 W over the universal line range.
